Pinoy Pride - Bini x Apex Legends x Valorant
Once I started playing Valorant and remembered they have a Filipino character named Neon, I realized this was a great opportunity to combine my love for Pinoy Pop (P-Pop) and gaming with this edit of Neon from Valorant, Conduit from Apex, and "Zero Pressure" from Bini. While I spliced together footage and animated the motion graphics, I did not create the original animations the content is sourced from.

I hadn't had the chance to experiment with creating fun text that's supposed to feel like it's in the world I'm editing it into. Tracking camera movement and messing with perspective was a fun challenge even though it took up more time than I expected because I hadn't ever done it before.

This project was me selfishly getting to put a bunch of things I love into one video, mainly video games and Filipino music. Up until this point I had never made an AMV before or gotten to work on something creative like this, so it was an opportunity for me to learn/develop new skills while having some fun.

Welcome to MATCH CUT CITY. I love a good match cut, haha. Lining up similar frames to transition into is so satisfying, even if it happens so quickly you don't get to appreciate it!

This was one of my favorite parts to work on. I had to place the text, figure out perspective, track the movement of the gun, add lighting so the text matched the bullet lighting, and create a shatter effect that would transition into the next scene as the character steps up into frame. Had a lot of fun with this one!
