Neighborly Reunion 2023

This was the second year I was tasked with creating intro animations for Neighborly's annual event Reunion. This intro was then customized with different colors and logos for each brand to introduce the franchise owners on stage.

Reunion 2023 was held in Colorado, so the theme "reaching new heights together" paired well with the scenic, mountainous landscape. The static artwork and logos were already designed by the graphic design department, but I had free reign to conceptualize the animation.

My initial concept was to create characters in the same style as this set of people used in a previous project. The two characters would trek up the mountain before the camera zoomed out to reveal the logo.

After some back and forth, we went in another direction with this other concept that focused more on utilizing shapes already established in the logo. It's much more punchy and to-the-point!
